What is MUN?
MUN; It is a simulation of the United Nations for students. Student delegates are selected from schools to represent certain countries and UN agencies.
At the conferences, the common language is English. Conferences usually include committees found in the United Nations. Delegates from different countries and cities participate.
This project is recognized and supported by the United Nations, the European Union, Harvard, and other reputable universities.
During the preparatory phase of the conferences, students go through an intensive study process, and prepare detailed research on international relations, world problems and current events. At the conference, they prepare legislative resolutions from the point of view of the different countries they represent, they practise these resolutions by discussing them during weekly study hours.
At the conferences they attend, they discuss the solutions they bring, and they debate and prepare motions under the umbrella of the United Nations, using diplomatic strategies.
We are proud of the students who successfully represent our school, and who will continue to do so at conferences, where, in a globalised World, the borders of countries are removed.
