Eco Schools Programme

WHAT IS THE ECO SCHOOL PROGRAMMES, IN WHICH WE GET A GREEN FLAG EVERY YEAR?

The Eco-Schools Programme is a program for Pre-school, Primary and Middle schools, to teach environmental awareness, environmental management and sustainable development. Through participation in the project, students learn about environmental issues. In addition, they contibute to the raising of awareness about environmental issues within their own families, local governments, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

BOTH A PROGRAM AND A PRIZE PLAN

The Eco-Schools Programmes not only provides schools with a guidance program on environmental education, it also offers a reward plan which gives the Green Flag award to those schools that have performed well in the program, and who have achieved outstanding success with their environmental education.

The Green Flag is an internationally recognised, and prestigious, eco-label indicating an environmentally-conscious school. The award is valid for only 2 years, therefore, it must be regained every two years.

The efforts of our students, on both campuses, have ensured that Anabilim Eğitim Kurumları has been entitled to receive the green flag award for 5 consecutive years.
