"We have developed and continue to develop the most unique and only program in terms of the scope of Turkey for Gifted Students."
Giving differentiated education in addition to the general education program for only a few hours per week is not sufficient for the development of gifted students. All curriculums of the gifted student classes at Anabilim are originally developed on the basis of the characteristics of gifted students. All of our courses are unique in Turkey in terms of content. Our programs are built on National Education programs and fully compatible with our National Education system. The development of our programs has been based on the class levels of the students, the learning outcomes and transfers from the upper classes have been made, the development gains not included in the National Education programs have been determined and have been added to our programs. In the enrichment of the program, in the development of new thinking and problem solving outcomes and in designing the program according to the characteristics of the gifted students, the curriculum of the Gifted Student Education Programs (ÜYEP), which has been implemented in Anadolu University for the last four years and proven with scientific researches, has been used. This new program encompasses entirely new learning activities developed by a team of experts.
Learning activities are carried out using the following teaching techniques, the effectiveness of which in the education of gifted student has been tested with scientific research:
• Selective Problem Solving
• Creative Opposite Thinking
• Creative Problem Solving
• DISCOVER Problem Matrix
• TABA Strategic Thinking Strategies
• Morphological Synthesis
