Prof. Dr. Uğur Sak

He is the Head of the Department of Education of Gifted Children at Anadolu University. The professor is the founding coordinator of Masters and PhD programs in the field of Education of Gifted Children at Anadolu University and Anadolu University Gifted Children Education Program (UYEP), founding editor of Turkish Superior Intelligence and Education Magazine and the assistant editor of the Asia-Pacific Superior Intelligence Magazine.  Regarding to the education of gifted children, he wrote the books Gifted Children: Characteristics, Identifications, Education and Gifted Children Education Programs. In addition, scientific articles and book chapters written in Turkish and English are published in national and international scientific journals and books.  He has been invited as a guest speaker at many national and international conferences and worked as the chairman of the executive board of 2ND Gifted Children Conference in Turkey and 3RD International Gifted Children Talent Development and Perfection Conference. He is a member of European Gifted Children Council and Turkish delegate of Asia-Pacific Gifted Children Confederation.  Dr. Sak completed his post-graduate study at Arizona State University in the USA and his PhD at Arizona University in the field of the education of gifted children. He continues to work in the areas of education, identification of gifted children, creative talents and dissemination of the UYEP model developed by him.
