Education Technologies

All assessment and evaluation applications performed at the school are carried out by using contemporary assessment and evaluation methods, techniques and practices. All assessment and evaluation applications are organized to include questions at different levels from "very easy" to "very difficult" to cover every level of the cognitive domain (knowledge-understanding-practice-analysis-synthesis-evaluation). The assessment and evaluation practices applied are prepared together with the Assessment and Evaluation Unit and the course teachers in such a way that the validity and reliability criteria take precedence. In every assessment and evaluation application; comprehensive subject / theme analyzes and questions are prepared in such a way to test the learning outcome, content and expected skills.

Assessment and evaluation processes include classical measurement instruments (written exam, multiple choice tests, etc.) as well as alternative measurement tools and evaluation methods. Appropriate assessment methods are chosen based on the learning outcomes and content analysis. The number of examinations and assessments to be made in one semester of the courses is determined according to the course hours indicated in the related regulations. Success of the students is monitored with projects realized, open-ended applications, subject screening tests, trial exams, performance assignments, etc. and other activities.

According to the results obtained after the evaluations made, the academic support processes like the complementary trainings that the student needs are examined and planned together with the Assessment-Evaluation Unit and the teachers.

Anabilim Smart Teaching Learning Area (ASTA)

Thanks to the social aspect of learning, our students can meet with their teachers at the same place with the forum activities in out-of-course time and continue to carry out the learning activities by moving the education out of the school.

In the system which has been designed as a student-specific system with individual qualifications, all resources used by the teacher in the subject-based classroom and availability of planned in-class/out-class activities in ASTA provide opportunities to increase the quality of the valuable time students spend with their teachers in the classroom.

In the system where all the processes from the course preparation stage to the assessment stage are given to the student just like it is in a face-to-face conversation, the processes are interpreted by the detailed statistics of the last assessment and evaluation step.

It is possible to perform on-line Pilot Tests through ASTA in the exam-oriented education system (centralized exams).
